Santa Barbara Fitness Magazine was formed in 2004 by Doug Holt, who at the time saw a need for a dedicated publication to help the community of Santa Barbara stay informed on the health and fitness opportunities in Santa Barbara. The magazine started out online and within a short few months, the magazine was taken to print. Since our inception, we’ve covered fitness events up and down the Central Coast, hosted articles from local fitness professionals, done product reviews, provided fresh recipes, and allowed the community to shape the direction of the article by inviting authors from all disciplines. We look forward to bringing you the latest local health and fitness information for many years to come!
