This book is broken down into sections based on categories. I’ve done the best I can to place each tool in the category I feel fits it the best. Of course, there’s a lot of crossover between these tools, so I suggest thumbing through each page to ensure nothing is missed that you might want. Of course, if you’re looking for a particular solution to a problem you’re facing right now, feel free to jump ahead to the section you feel best fits your need. My goal was to create this as a reference for business owners and not merely a book to be read through on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

The Internet is an ever-changing ecosystem with websites coming and going. I’ve placed the most up-to-date links I could in the toolbox. However, things change. Please check DougHoltOnline.com/Toolbox to get the latest information. I’ll also be updating the Toolbox as my business journey continues and I discover new tools along the way. I hope you’ll share yours with me so I can continue to help entrepreneurs and business owners like you. I’ll also be posting updates in my free newsletter, so make sure to sign up to stay informed and become part of the community.

2016-03-04_1213You will also notice that some of the tools have a symbol by them of a skull and crossbones. This is the dark side. These are tools, tricks, and tips that don’t always fall in line with doing the right thing, but since you parted with your hard earned money, it seems only fair that I share with you what I know and not impose my beliefs on you. Please use these tools and tricks with care and realize that I don’t endorse them, but do know they exist and so should you.

I’ve also tried to include whether a tool recommend is free, paid, or some combination of the two. Again, things change and what was once free might not be anymore and vice versa, so please check back on my website for the latest information.

Disclaimer: Yup, there’s a disclaimer. I wish to be fully transparent with my readers so I want you to know that I will discuss a variety of products/services on my blog and in this book, and when possible, I will use affiliate links (and I suggest you do the same when the opportunity arises). If you follow an affiliate link and go on to purchase that product or service, I will be paid a small commission, however, your cost will be the same (and quite possibly less if I’m highlighting a promotion).

So naturally there is the question of am I pushing this product/service just to make money, or am I recommending it because I feel it is in the best interest of my readers? My goal is to help people through my experience, so I won’t recommend a product unless I’ve…

  1. Used it personally (which will be the case the vast majority of the time).
  2. Thoroughly researched it and gotten first-hand user feedback from other successful entrepreneurs in our community that I trust and that have used the product/service.

So there you have it. That’s my disclaimer. I’m an entrepreneur and making money when the opportunity arises and by adding value is just in my blood.

Enjoy the fruits of my labor and discovery. I hope these pages create more free time in your life, reduce your stress, and help you make money along the way.

Enjoy the Journey!
